WRATHSTONBURY 2 - A DAY TO JUST ABOUT REMEMBER

Well, what a total mind-mashing marathon of marvellous mayhem that was. We had the best day EVER - everyone pulled off blinding performances, things almost ran to time and all bands really pulled together and got on well. The event attracted around 270 paying punter plus another 100 or so band members, guests and crew so needless to say, Joseph's Well was rammed all day. Quite frankly, it couldn't have gone better.

Many thanks must be bestowed upon the following:
Whiskas and his Transmission cohorts - The real stars of this event as they organised, promoted and booked the whole thing. If I had a hat it would be taken off to them.
Mido and Joseph's Well staff - Thanks for letting us ruin your lovely venue and also drink ourselves into a stupour!
All bands concerned - Like I said, everyone pulled a top notch gig out of the bag on the night. Particular thanks to the likes of The Secret Hairdresser, The Young Knives, Jarcrew and Stuffy/The Fuses for travelling all that way to entertain us all. Stuffy also gets a special knighthood for his services to 'last-minute filling in on the drums' for The Scaramanga Six - seamless and flawless old chap. Our sincere commiserations to The $hit who had come all the way from the Black Country to play, then had to cancel due to one member of the band being squashed by falling equipment - ouch! Hope she has made a full recovery.

It all seems so long ago now, but for those who need their memories buffed-up with the glory of Wrathstonbury 2, here are some ace reviews of the day (or parts of it):
