SUPERSEVENS UPDATE....

"Good Boy!" to all those of you who have already subscribed to the new Super Sevens series 2 singles club. "Bad Doggie!" to all those of you yet to do it.

You'll be pleased to know that we have finally got the first two 7"s in the series into production and with any luck, we should have these little plastic nuggets back from our new manufacturers in the States in about a month's time.. They are of course:

WRATH28 - Super Seven #7
Being 747 'DIY Prescriptions' / The Lodger 'Getting Special'

WRATH29 - Super Seven #8
Stuffy/The Fuses 'Sir Wants Sex' / The Secret Hairdresser 'Copier'

We've got a brand new 'Super Sevens' mini-site online now where you can find out about the upcoming releases, the bands, and any news on the scheme. Just go here:

An interesting situation has arisen - it seems that Leeds own pop crusaders, THE LODGER, are also to be releasing the fantastic 'Many Thanks For Your Honest Opinion' 7" on fellow ace Leeds label Dance To The Radio (check out www.dancetotheradio.com for details). We now seem to have a race on our hands to be the label that gets there first with the goods - who's it going to be? We are thinking of designing a special election-style 'Lodgerometer' to be operated by Peter Snow that will demonstrate which way it's swinging at the moment. I'd say that DTTR probably have the edge, but its a game of two halves and I'm a firm believer that the team that scores the most goals at the end of 90 minutes is the winner. We'll see...
