THE SIX GET GIGGY
Wrath stalwarts and self-proclaimed EVIL pop group, The Scaramanga Six, decide on a speight of very special gigs in support of their forthcoming pop opus, including some host festival ACTION.
Wrath’s old post office van is falling to bits – there’s a bungey holding the chassis together, one front light that’s almost totally rusted out of it’s bracket and a rather healthly-looking fern plant growing through underneath the front passenger seat. This won’t stop the ‘Rock Juggernaught’ that is THE SCARAMANGA SIX as they fling all their stuff in the old banger for yet another spurt of gigging activity. Expect multi-drummer action, an ear-bleeding din of mind-flaying melodrama, special audience mind-control devices and perhaps the odd split trouser.

WEDNESDAY 9th AUGUST – The Welly Club, HULL – Raw Talent night, to be broad cast live on internet TV!
FRIDAY 11th AUGUST – Escobar, WAKEFIELD – Louder Than Bombs club night
SATURDAY 19th AUGUST – Joseph’s Well, LEEDS – As part of a ROCK all-dayer
SUNDAY 20th AUGUST – Beached Festival, SCARBOROUGH – Ace free festival on the beach.
WEDNESDAY 23rd AUGUST – The Windmill, LONDON – Invite-only gig featuring The Six, Sarandon & Stuffy/The Fuses. Email us for details!
SATURDAY 26th AUGUST – The Carling Weekend Festival, Bramham Park, LEEDS. Yes – we’re on it!
SATURDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER – The Grapes, SHEFFIELD

All this to help spread the word about the prePOPsterous new single ‘Baggage’, which according to Mr Napoleon the 3rd from Headingley, Leeds sounds like “Cardiacs covering ELO. Ace!”. You should be able to get the 7” single AND special gig-only CD single versions of the new release at these shows.
